In today’s video, I have great news for those of you who are waiting for the iOS 14.4 to 14.0 JAILBREAk on iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone XS, XR, etc. A Jailbreak was achieved by security researcher @pattern-f. They’ve just demonstrated their jailbreak working on iPhone 11 and iPhone 6S with fully working SSH.
Apparently, they are using their own Kernel Vulnerability + ZecOps’ AMFID bypass from their previous 13.7 LPE PoC. This combination allowed for jailbreaking iOS 14.2, iOS 14.1, iOS 14.0.1, and iOS 14.1, BUT the bug wasn’t patched yet. While a new exploitation technique is needed for iOS 14.3 and up, the bug is still there and can be exploited, thus resulting in a jailbreak. Best news: this may even be released once it gets patched so that Odyssey Jailbreak and Unc0ver Jailbreak can be updated!
