iPhone Screen Is Too Dark. Here’s The Fix!



Two Apple experts explain what to do when your iPhone screen is dark.

First, try turning up the brightness on your iPhone to see if that makes any difference.

If it doesn’t, there’s a decent chance that one of the iPhone Accessibility settings has been configured in a way that makes the screen darker than usual. Make sure Reduce White Point and Zoom are both turned off.

If your iPhone screen is still too dark, Reset All Settings. Instead of tracking down the specific software problem, this will just reset everything!

The last step you can do before ruling out a software problem is a DFU restore, the deepest iPhone restore. It’s time to consider repair options if your iPhone display is still dark.

Put Your iPhone in DFU mode:
