The unique two-in-one design of Microsoft Surface Pro can be freely converted into two modes of tablet and laptop. The concept seems to be the next wave of laptops. ASUS recently launched two products in a row, all of which pay tribute to the Surface style, but with the two major specifications of e-sports and creators, it has targeted different customer groups.

ASUS’ Vivobook 13 Slate OLED and ROG Flow Z13 are new laptops with two-in-one designs. They are currently relatively rare in the Windows camp. Except for Microsoft, they used to be more common in Chromebooks. With the magnetic keyboard and touch screen, the device can cope with different usage scenarios. At present, Microsoft Surface is mainly focused on business users, with the office and productivity of Office, while ASUS has extended its reach to different areas.

The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, which only went on sale last month, weighs only 785g, and is equipped with a 4096-level ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus, which can be attached to the body through the addition of a pen case, and can be operated through the Bluetooth connection quick button to operate screenshots, Next page. It mainly attracts creators by providing OLED screens that emphasize color accuracy, including PANTONE verification, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

As for the other ROG Flow Z13, it is aimed at gaming players. It is packed with an RTX 3050Ti graphics card in a thin and light body. After pairing with Intel’s 12th generation i9 processor, it is only 12mm wide and weighs 1.1 KG. Emphasis is placed on expanding the cooling module, reducing fan noise, and additionally supporting XG Mobile and Tunderbolt 4, allowing players to connect with more powerful graphics cards.
