Bridgerton Season 2 News, Release Date & Cast Confirmed
Netflix’s Bridgerton is back! The highly successful historical drama based on eight high society siblings took the world by storm when it first aired on Christmas Day of 2020. The scandalous series was streamed by over 80 million households, making it the streaming site’s biggest original series to date. In January of 2021, Netflix announced that the popular show has been renewed for another season!
The Shondaland production was created by Chris Van Deusen, who is Shonda Rhimes long time protege. This project takes its source material from the books of the same name written by Julia Quinn. It’s more of a Jane Austen meets “Gossip Girl” meets “Sex and the City” with a whole lot of costumes in between. With the novels being closely analysed for spoilers and easter eggs, new developments emerge every day.
