At the new product launch tonight, vivo launched its first folding screen flagship, vivo X Fold, which offers 12+256GB and 12+512GB configurations, priced at 8,999 yuan and 9,999 yuan respectively. It will be released on April 22. Officially open for sale at 10:00 am.
For the folding screen, the core component is naturally the hinge design. The vivo X Fold adopts an aerospace-grade floating wing hinge structure, and uses a large number of liquid metal zirconium alloys, F53 aviation high-strength steel, and hand-torn steel sheets. Aeronautical material, light weight and high strength, has passed the Rheinland 300,000-fold worry-free certification, can be used for 10 years, and has a very long life.

In terms of display, the outer screen of vivo X Fold is a 6.53-inch micro-curved screen with a resolution of 2520*1080. The inner screen is expanded to an 8-inch large screen with a resolution of 2160*1916. Both the internal and external dual screens use Samsung E5 material, diamond arrangement, support 120Hz high refresh rate, the internal screen also supports LTPO adaptive refresh, breaking the 19 records of DislayMate and getting A+ rating.
In addition, vivo X Fold also launched the world’s first 3D ultrasonic dual-screen fingerprint. The inner and outer screens each support 3D ultrasonic screen fingerprint technology. Single-screen entry can be used to unlock dual-screen, and it can be quickly unlocked under wet hands and strong light.
In terms of core performance, the new phone is equipped with a customized version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SPU. Compared with the previous generation Snapdragon 888, the CPU is increased by 10%, the GPU is increased by 30%, and the running score is as high as 1.07 million. At the same time, the integrated SPU unit provides higher security.
In the imaging part, the entire vivo X Fold is equipped with Zeiss optical lenses and T* coating technology, consisting of a 50MP 1/1.5″ main camera + 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens + 12MP 2x telephoto lens + 8MP 5x full-focus lens.
In terms of battery life, the built-in 4600mAh battery supports 66W wired flash charging, the world’s first 50W wireless flash charging for folding screens, and 10W reverse charging, which can be fully charged in 37 minutes.
