Unleashed Overclocking
In this Video I show you the whole process of getting the 3080 Gaming X Trio to mine properly.
The first thing you want to do is to update the VBIOS to the latest version, which
you can find in the Techpowerup database.
At least if you want to mine on windows!
2nd thing you want to do is changing the thermalpads for ones that work proper.
I´m sorry guys, that I switched directly to copper plates but after seeing those temps
I didnt want to bother a 2nd time with this particular card.
I used 15x15x1mm copper plates. Woked fine, as you can see.
If you want to mine with that card on Hive, or rather said linux, you have to flash an other VBIOS.
I flashed the BIOS of the 3080 Strix on my particular card. Works good. Card is hashing around 105MH/s in Hive but powerreading is 100% messedup. But dont care either.
