News on May 12, early this morning, Google held the Google I/O 2022 conference as scheduled, at which the Android 13 operating system was officially released.
Before the deadline, the three major domestic brands, Xiaomi, OPPO, and realme, have announced the first batch of models that are compatible with the Android 13 developer preview.
The first batch of compatible models include Mi 12, Mi 12 Pro, Mi Pad 5 and Redmi K50 Pro, OPPO Find N, OPPO Find X5 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, and realme GT2 Pro.
It is worth mentioning that the Redmi K50 Pro is also the first MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship to officially support Android 13.
According to OPPO’s official introduction, the OPPO Find N version needs to be A.16 and below in order to upgrade to the Android 13 developer preview version. Versions above A.16 cannot be upgraded to the Android 13 Developer Preview. Before upgrading the Android 13 developer preview version, you need to turn off the “Clone App” function, and enabling this function to upgrade will cause the upgrade to fail.
Users who intend to experience Android 13 for early adopters must fully back up their mobile phone data to a cloud service or computer before upgrading to avoid data loss.
It is reported that Android 13 will “privacy and security” as a major update, this time Android 13 adds a photo selector, allowing users to share photos and videos with a single application, but the application can only access the allowed pictures, not the entire Gallery.
