What happened to the sound on my iPad?
Go to Settings – Sounds (or Settings – Sounds & Haptics), and drag the Ringer and Alerts slider back and forth a few times. If you don’t hear any sound, or if your speaker button on the Ringer and Alerts slider is dimmed, your speaker might need service. Contact Apple Support for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Clean The Microphone and Speaker holes on the iPad
If you find that one of your iPad’s microphones sounds muffled after you test it or it has no sound at all, let’s clean them. My favorite way to clean iPad microphones is by using a dry, un-used toothbrush to clean the microphone grill at the bottom of your iPad and the small black dot microphone to the right of the rear-facing camera. Simply slide the toothbrush over the microphones to dislodge any stuck pocket lint, dirt, and dust.

To turn up the volume of an iPad microphone, you should: Click Start – Control Panel – Sounds and Audio Devices. Open the Control Panel – click Sounds, Voices and Audio Devices – click on Sounds and Audio Devices

How do I turn my microphone on my iPad?
You can enable the microphone access by tapping “ALLOW”. You can also go to the app properties on your device, and enable microphone access there: Settings – Apps – Yousician – Permissions – Microphone.

Launch the Settings app on your iPhone and navigate to Accessibility – Audio/Visual. Switch off Noise Cancellation toggle. Have a call with a friend and make sure the microphone is functioning properly. If it’s still malfunctioning then re-enable the feature and move to the next trick.
