In this video I have shown how you can setup Airtel eSIM on the iPhone XS. Now only Reliance Jio and Airtel for now in India give you eSIM option.

And if you are using iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max or iPhone XR one of the SIM inside is a eSIM the other is nano SIM slot. So you can use either Jio or Airtel services.
I went for the Airtel eSIM option as it was the fastest and can be done by simply sending SMS, whereas in the case of Reliance Jio You need to visit the nearest Jio Store and get it done, kind of manual process.
With Airtel all you need to do is send SMS to 121 the content of SMS should be ESIM yourregistered-email-id.
