Apple just announced its new operating system: Apple CarPlay iOS16 at WWDC 2022. Great news for car buyers, Apple confirmed it will expand its OS inside vehicles as it lands deals with major automakers.
You can expect Apple CarPlay iOS16 to be available in mass-produced vehicles starting in 2023 as the first models to get the operating system will get announced later in 2022.
Apple CarPlay iOS16 will most likely change the game as more and more vehicles will adopt the interface, solidifying Apple as a hardware and software provider for consumers around the world.
