All right, guys, I was wrong.
I was confident that the FAA would not delay again.
But I underestimated their ability to be sluggish!
Honestly, Space may be hard, but bureaucracy is harder.
On May 31, the FAA announced it continues to delay the SpaceX Starbase Environmental Assessment completion another 2 weeks; It is the fifth time it gets delayed. And the Administration has been conducting the environmental assessment for nearly a year now.
Shame on a government organization that has squandered so much money from US taxpayers!
So, it is important now to clarify these issues:
Why is FAA approval for SpaceX Starship orbital launch taking so long?

When Ars Technica space reporter Eric Berger reported the latest delay on Twitter, a thread developed in which people chimed in with suggestions that the environmental process was being slow-walked or even rigged. One common sentiment is that the FAA is delaying so that the NASA Space Launch System will fly before the orbital SpaceX Starship.
