Tech Jargon:
SOC – A system-on-a-chip is a microchip with all the necessary electronic circuits and parts for a given system, such as a smartphone or wearable computer, on a single integrated circuit
CPU – Central Processing Unit. The processor is the “brain” of a device. It’s what handles the instructions of software apps. All phones have a processor of some kind. it may be integrated into the main cell phone chip, or be a separate computer chip.
GPU – Graphics Processing Unit. The part of a device’s circuitry that handles the display and animation of visual elements. GPU usually handles all mobile gaming.
GeekBench 5 – is a cross-platform benchmark that measures your system’s CPU performance with the press of a button.
3DMark Wild Life Extreme – a more demanding cross-platform benchmark for comparing the graphics performance of mobile computing devices.
