In this video we run through CPU, RAM and GPU choices, working out which one perform optimally at a range of budgets and settings.
We’ve done all of our testing in live play, benchmarking at least 2 minutes of segments for each run to get consistent, reliable numbers. We’ve got tests from AMD Zen 3 CPUs, the 5600G, 5600X, 5800X and the Intel i3, i5 and i7 Alder lake CPUs. For GPUs there’s both AMD and Nvidia represented from the 6500XT up to the RTX 3080Ti.
We’ve tested RAM from 2400Mhz to 4400MHz speeds, as well as capacity to see if that makes a difference.
