Install any custom GSI rom using DSU sideloader: No root No fastboot | Dualboot two different roms

DSU LOADER is awesome implementation by Google to test generic system images that Google going to release the new Android versions which can be loaded over the existing OS, with the single reboot we can go back to stock rom. It’s available on Android 11 roms via developer settings there we get this option, but that setting will load only compatible gsi packages available for your device when we tap on it, it will be downloaded and flashed. But developers like phh has developed phh treble gsi rom using these images which are bootable and working on lots of devices but to install them we need to follow tedious fastboot flashable or twrp flashable installation process which also wipes system, that I created in lots of YT videos. But now the new all DSU sideloader is available where we can load any gsi img, xz or gz file and test it, instead of that we can set specific user data size for such images and use them as dualboot rom with your stock rom or custom. This will work without root but it will work properly with root acess . It’s compatible for any device having Android 11 and dsu loader
In this video I will tell, how you can use this app and how it’s useful to dual boot any gsi.

DSU feature may be broken in some ROMs.

gsid does not let you install GSIs via DSU when you have less than 40% of free storage.

gsid checks if selected GSI size is multiple of 512 (preventing corrupted system images).

If you have disabled/debloated system apps, make sure “Dynamic System Updates” app is not disabled.

To use “ADB mode” on rooted device, deny root permission
