The Windows 10 21H2 “Sun Valley,” which Microsoft is rumored to offer later this year, seems to be redesigning multiple icons that have continued to be used since Windows 95.
Updated icons included in Shell32.DLL
In the latest preview build of Windows 10 21H2 “Sun Valley”, the icons such as “Hibernation Mode”, “Globe”, “Network” and “Floppy Disk” included in Shell32.DLL have been revamped and are new based on Fluent Design. ..
However, not all icons have been revamped, and Windows Latest reports that the old tree icons of “WinDirStat” still remain.
The start menu is also expected to change significantly
In Windows 10 21H2 “Sun Valley”, it has also been confirmed that the icons such as “Document”, “Download”, “Video”, “Music”, and “Recycle Bin” in File Explorer are changed.
The overall design and start menu are also expected to change significantly.
