Apple: App Store submission experience will be updated on January 25, allowing multiple projects to be submitted at the same time

On Saturday, Apple issued a reminder to developers that it introduced an update last year to submit apps, in-app events, custom product pages and product page optimization tests on App Store Connect.

Apple says that starting January 25, 2022, the submission experience for all App Store Connect accounts will be automatically updated. Developers can submit multiple projects, submit without a new app version, view past submissions, and more.

If developers are ready for early access, Apple Developer Program account holders can enable the experience, which will apply the update to all team members. If the developer is already using the updated experience or wants to wait for an automatic update, no action is required.

Apple also previously introduced new features for App Store product pages, including product page optimization and custom product pages. Developers can take advantage of these two new features to help build more efficient App Store product pages.

Product Page Optimization: Use different icons, screenshots, and app previews on different versions of your app’s product page to find out which version works best. Different App product page versions will be randomly displayed to a certain percentage of eligible App Store users, and the relevant results will be displayed in App Analytics to help developers find the most attractive version and show it to everyone on the App Store .

Custom Product Pages: Create additional versions of your app’s product pages to highlight specific features or content. Developers can share unique URL links to different versions of product pages. Custom product pages can also set (and localize) different screenshots, app previews, and promotional text to help developers showcase specific sports, characters, shows, game features, and more.
