Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the ultra-wide-angle cameras of the two iPhone 14 Pro will be upgraded to 1.4m (vs. 1.0m of the iPhone 13 Pro). The unit price of CIS (image sensor), VCM (voice coil motor), and CCM (camera module) has increased significantly in this upgrade, about 70%, 45% and 40% respectively. The price increase of other components is limited. .
In addition, he also pointed out that Sony (CIS), Minebea (VCM one supply), Largan (VCM two supply) and LG Innotek (CCM) are notable beneficiaries of the ultra-wide-angle camera upgrade.
Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo also shared some of his own predictions. For the price of the iPhone 14 series, he expects the average selling price of the iPhone 14 series to increase by about 15% compared with the previous generation of the iPhone 13 series, reaching $1,000 to $1,050. The main reason for the price increase is the two iPhone 14 Pro machines. Model is more expensive. Moreover, he also pointed out that the risk of a global recession is still “rising and unpredictable”, and launching new products as soon as possible will help avoid the risk of economic contraction on iPhone demand.
