On September 27, Rakuten Mobile removed OPPO Reno7 A from the list of target products for upgrading to Android 13. As of September 26, it was subject to version upgrade, but it has been removed from the list due to a request from OPPO Japan.
OPPO Reno7 A removed from version upgrade target
On September 26, 2022, Rakuten Mobile released a list of devices that will be upgraded to Android 13. AQUOS sense6, Galaxy Z Flip4, Xperia 10 IV, etc. are posted.
On the other hand, OPPO Reno7 A, which was originally listed as a target for version upgrade, was removed from the list on September 27th.
Rakuten Mobile explains that OPPO’s Japanese subsidiary, Ogre Japan, has corrected the information, so Reno7 A has been removed from the list of models to be upgraded. It seems that Android 13 may not be available on Rakuten Mobile version OPPO Reno7 A.
In addition, a note of “Information as of September 27, 2022” is attached, and OPPO Reno7 A may be relisted on the version upgrade list in the future.
The OPPO Reno7 A was released in June 2022, but Android 11 is used as the OS, and it will be interesting to see if it can be upgraded to Android 13.
