IT House noticed that Ookla shared the results of this test in its blog post. They collected data from Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, Europe, and North America from February 1 to March 24, and specifically compared the Galaxy S24 series (and earlier models) with the iPhone 15 series. Compared.

Ookla said: “In this study, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series showed a statistically significant lead in median 5G download speeds in seven of the 15 countries tested. “

It is worth mentioning that the iPhone 15 series ranked first in the median 5G speed in one of the countries/regions (the specific country/region was not mentioned). Ookla also highlighted that “the speed difference between Galaxy S24 devices and iPhone 15 was relatively small” in some countries where it was tested. But overall, the S24 series is still slightly better in terms of 5G speed.

For example, in the United States, the S24 series’ median 5G speeds are 34 Mbps faster than the iPhone 15 series. In the UAE, the S24 series beat the iPhone 15 series by a slim margin of 9 Mbps. In the UK, the median 5G speed of the S24 series is 18 Mbps ahead of the iPhone 15 series.
