Under the European Union’s DMA, exclusive services are subject to a surcharge of 10% of global turnover, rising to 20% if violations continue.

What changes with third-party stores?

Downloading apps to your iPhone from sources other than the App Store is called sideloading, and Apple says sideloaded apps undergo both automated and human reviews.
