Ross Young: Apple iPhone 17 Plus screen size is smaller than 6.7 inches to differentiate between Plus and Pro Max models

IT House reported on April 18 that the revelations about Apple’s new iPhones on the Internet are no longer limited to this year’s new iPhone 16 series, but are “super forward-looking” and have set their sights on next year’s iPhone 17 series.

Ross Young, CEO of screen supply chain consulting company DSCC, recently tweeted that he learned from supply chain channels that the screen size of Apple’s iPhone 17 Plus will be smaller than 6.7 inches, but did not disclose the specific screen size.

Currently, the iPhone 15 Plus has the same screen size as the iPhone 15 Pro Max. If this rumor is true, starting with the iPhone 17 series, smaller screens will further differentiate the Plus models from the Pro Max models.

Previous news has stated that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to be equipped with larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, which are 0.2 inches larger than the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max.
