DiDi Mobility Japan (DiDi) announced that it will abolish the “application usage fee” introduced in July 2020 on October 30, 2020. In addition, from the same day, we will carry out a free first-ride campaign by PayPay payment.
Abolished the application usage fee introduced in July
DiDi Taxi has a system of application usage fee since July, and it was necessary to pay in addition to the normal fee. However, as of October 30, this will be abolished again. As a result, the “App Usage Fee 0 Yen Campaign” that has been held since September 16, 2020 will also end.
Friday and Saturday first ride free campaign is back!
The free Friday and Saturday first ride campaign is one of the campaigns that has been implemented since DiDi launched the DiDi Taxi service in Osaka in September 2018. DiDi will continue to carry out many campaigns.

During the period from October 30th to November 28th, 2020, DiDi will be free of charge for the first ride on Friday and Saturday if you enter the coupon code for each region and settle with the PayPay balance linked with the application. We will carry out a campaign. The discount amount varies depending on the region, and the coupons obtained can only be used outside the region, and the discount is free only once a day.
