Apple today pushed the iOS 14.2 GM version to developers, fixing the “iOS update is available” infinite pop-up error. As early as 2018, during the testing phase of iOS 12, similar problems occurred.

In iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2, Apple has added new Emoji 13 expressions, including:

  • Faces-tearful smiling faces, disguised faces

  • People—Ninjas, men in tuxedos, women in tuxedos, men in veils, women in veils, women feeding babies, men feeding babies, people feeding babies, Mx. Claus, people hugging

  • Body parts — pinch fingers, anatomy heart, lungs

  • Animals-black cats, bisons, mammoths, beavers, polar bears, dodos, seals, beetles, cockroaches, flies, worms.

  • Food-blueberries, olives, sweet peppers, flat bread, hot pot, milk tea, tamari

  • Household items—potted plants, teapots, Piñata, magic wands, nesting dolls, sewing needles, mirrors, windows, pistons, mousetraps, buckets, toothbrushes

  • Sundries-feathers, rocks, wood, cabins, pickups, roller skates, knots, coins, boomerangs, screwdrivers, woodworking saws, hooks, ladders, elevators, tombstones, placards, transgender signs, transgender flags

  • Clothing-T-shaped sandals, military helmets.

  • Musical instruments-accordion, long drum

iOS 14.2 GM version released: fix infinite popup error

iOS 14.2 also adds a music recognition function to the control center, which can recognize music played around or played in AirPods. The official version of iOS 14.2 may arrive this week.
