From April 15, 2021, Anker started selling “Anker PowerCore Magnetic 5000”, the company’s first compact mobile battery compatible with magnetic wireless charging, at Anker’s official online store.
Compatible with MagSafe
This product is a mobile battery that can be used by attaching it to the MagSafe compatible iPhone 12 series, which solves the drawback of conventional wireless charging that “it can not be charged if it is misaligned” by making it a magnet type.
It features a thin design that does not interfere with the camera even when attached to the smallest iPhone 12 mini in the series, and is easy to grip even when stacked on a smartphone.
Can also be charged from the USB-C port
In addition to wireless charging (output 5W), it can be charged with a maximum of 10W from the USB-C port, so it can charge a wide range of USB devices. It does not support quick charging.
Magnetic wireless charging is only available on iPhone 12 series and MagSafe compatible cases.
The size of “Anker PowerCore Magnetic 5000” is about 93 mm x 63 mm x 16 mm, the weight is about 133 grams, and the capacity is 5,000 mAh. The price is 3,990 yen including tax.
