iPhone 13 will never have M1
Prosser took up an article by Canadian media ScreenRant entitled “Will the iPhone 13 also have an M1?” And said, “The iPhone 13 will never have an M1. It will have an A15.” ..
It was rumored that the new iPad Pro would be equipped with the A14X, which is a high-performance version of the A14, but it was introduced with the M1.
It has been pointed out that it is more cost effective for Apple to use the same chip for many devices than to increase the variation of Apple silicon.
From that point, Screen Rant may have thought that “iPhone 13 may also be M1.”
Mass production of A15 starts from the end of May
The Geekbench score, which is supposed to be A15, was already posted on Twitter.
Mass production of the A15 will start in late May with TSMC’s 5nm process “N5P (N5 Plus)”, and the chip will improve power consumption with the same performance as the 5nm process “N5” used to manufacture the A14. It is expected that a rate of 10% and a performance improvement rate of 5% at the same power consumption will be achieved.
