Apple hires Cisco Chief Communications Officer Stella Law to lead the PR business

According to reports, Apple appointed Cisco’s chief communications officer Stella Low (Stella Low) as the company’s communications director, filling the position that has been vacant since 2019.

Apple announced that Stella Law will report to the company’s CEO Tim Cook and lead external communications and public relations as a vice president.

“Stella brings her outstanding experience and leadership to Apple’s world-class communication team.” An Apple spokesperson said in a statement, “From revolutionary products and services to our positive impact on the community and the world, Apple There are important stories to tell, and Stella is an excellent leader who helps us write a new chapter.”

Since Steve Dowling resigned in 2019, Apple’s top communications and public relations head has been vacant. Phil Schiller, the former head of marketing at Apple, has been in charge of the department since then, and he is still leading the App Store.

Before working for Cisco, Stella Law also served as the head of communications for Dell. He has more than 30 years of work experience in the industry.

The addition of Stella Law comes at a time when the iPhone manufacturer is facing criticism from developers and scrutiny by regulators because of App Store policies. The company will hold many important events in the future, including the software developer conference in June.
