It’s been revealed that Google Photos will add a new feature for machine learning to generate short animations from two similar photos.
Multiple still images become animated videos
This new feature is called “Cinematic Moments,” and Google says it uses machine learning to generate additional frames between two images to make it appear to move. That is. For example, if you take multiple photos in succession, Google Photos can bring those scenes to life by making them into videos.
The company has an existing “Cinematic Photos” that allows you to add animation-like depth effects to your photos with machine learning, but this is a distinction.
The new feature “Cinematic Moments” will be added to the Android and iOS versions of the Google Photos app in the near future. Google Photos can be downloaded for free from the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
When you’re trying to get the perfect photo, you usually take the same shot a few times. @GooglePhotos will use machine learning to fill in the gaps between two similar photos and create a vivid, moving image.
