Nvidia Shield users will be able to use the Apple TV app to access Apple TV +, a flat-rate streaming service, and content on Apple TV channels such as TV shows and movies purchased or rented from the iTunes Store.

The Apple TV app can be operated by voice in cooperation with the Google Assistant built into Nvidia Shield. Users can use the “OK Google” voice command to go directly to a specific Apple TV + show or movie or play a video.

The Apple TV app has been available on various platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Roku in recent months. The app can also be used on “Chromecast with Google TV” equipped with Android TV.
