It seems that Foxconn and Pegatron, who are in charge of assembly, are strengthening the recruitment of workers by presenting a recruitment bonus toward the start of mass production of the iPhone 13 series (there is also a rumor with iPhone 12s).
Pegatron Recruits Bonus Increase
Foxconn and Pegatron are stepping up their assembly workforce for mass production of the iPhone 13 series, which will begin in the coming weeks.
According to the Taiwan Media Economic Daily, Pegatron is offering a month’s salary as a recruitment bonus for new employees.
The hiring bonus was originally 5,500 yuan (about 94,000 yen), but has been raised to 8,500 yuan (about 145,000 yen).
Pegatron also pays new employee referrals a bonus of 1,800 yuan (about 31,000 yen). The company requires candidates under the age of 24 to show identification to avoid hiring students.
Foxconn is also strengthening recruitment activities, will the iPhone 13 series be released in September?
Foxconn is also stepping up its recruitment of assembly workers. The company pays a recruitment bonus of 6,000 yuan (about 102,500 yen).
The recruitment activities for Pegatron and Foxconn are in preparation for mass production of the iPhone 13 series from mid-July to late July.
The iPhone 13 series is expected to be released in September from the scheduled start of mass production.
