Taiwanese media DigiTimes says that Apple has secured a priority supply quota for TSMC and that the supply of A15 Bionic installed in the iPhone 13 series (some say it is iPhone 12s) will increase after the third quarter (July-September). I reported.

Mass production of the A15 Bionic is said to have already started from the end of May, but the number of supplies is expected to increase from the third quarter (July to September) toward the launch this fall.
According to DigiTimes, in the midst of a shortage of semiconductors, Apple has secured a preferred quota for TSMC, so it seems that it will have the required number of A15 Bionics.
Not only TSMC, but other Apple chip suppliers such as Genesys Logic and Parade Technologies are also receiving orders in the third quarter (July-September), up 30-40% from the second quarter (April-June). We are strengthening our supply capacity to accommodate the number.

According to information obtained by DigiTimes from supply chain officials, the iPhone 13 series to be released this year is expected to have a normal release schedule (September), and each chip maker will place Apple’s 2021 order in the fourth quarter (October).
