For the first time, the benchmark results of a GPU designed by Samsung and AMD, which are rumored to be announced in July 2021, have been leaked. It slightly outperforms Qualcomm’s and Samsung’s flagship system-on-chip (SoC), and outperforms Apple’s A14 Bionic.
50% faster than Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100
This leak information was provided by popular Twitter leaker Ice universe (@UniverseIce).
According to it, the GPU created by the collaboration between Samsung and AMD scored 8,134 points in the test called Wild Life of 3DMark.
Exclusive: Samsung is testing the AMD GPU in the new Exynos, and the Wild Life test on the 3D Mark has scored 8134 points. It is worth mentioning that the CPU in this test is A77 architecture, for reference only. Each test has different results , we need to wait for more results. Pic.twitter.com/Rej9vqyP6s

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888, which is considered to be the fastest SoC currently used in Android smartphones, has 5,382 points, and Samsung’s Exynos 2100 has 5,295 points, which is more than 50% faster than these.
This benchmark result is based on Arm’s Cortex-A77, which is not the latest CPU, and may score even higher when combined with the latest CPUs such as those found in flagship SoCs.
Score equal to or better than A14 Bionic
When running this 3DMark Wild Life test on Apple’s A14 Bionic on the iPhone 12 series, the score is 7,668 points, which is even higher on Samsung and AMD GPUs.
However, considering the appearance time of smartphones equipped with this chip, I am concerned about the comparison with Apple’s A15 Bionic and Snapdragon 895/898, which are thought to be installed in the next iPhone.
Details of the GPU-powered SoC created in collaboration with Samsung and AMD are expected to be announced in July 2021.
