Luxshare begins production of iPhone 13 Pro

According to MyDrivers, Luxshare Precision has received a 3% order for the iPhone 13 Pro assembly process.

The company’s entry into the iPhone supply chain has been seen as a matter of time since it acquired Wistron’s business.

With the increase in the number of suppliers due to the entry of Luxshare Precision, Apple will have an advantage in price negotiations with existing suppliers Foxconn and Pegatron, MyDrivers reports.

Chinese supplier with increasing presence

MyDriver reports that more Chinese companies are expected to enter the iPhone supply chain in the future.

In addition to the iPhone assembly business, the supply of organic EL displays for iPhone by BOE in China is expected to increase in the future, and the supply of parts such as Sunny Optical and Lens Technology is also expected to increase.

Luxshare Precision and Goertek have also received orders for the manufacture of AirPods (3rd generation).
