Other Reddit users report that the lens flare that occurred in photos taken with the iPhone 12 Pro was removed after a while.

Report of lens flare removal on iPhone XS and later

Several Reddit users have reported that the lens flare has been eliminated on the iPhone XS, iPhone11 and iPhone12.
 
US media 9to5Mac commented that the new features of iOS 15 are limited to models equipped with A12 Bionic or later, so it is unclear whether earlier models will have the same effect.

No explanation from Apple, the mechanism is unknown

Apple hasn’t explained anything about eliminating lens flares in iOS 15, and it’s unclear what kind of processing is used to achieve this.
 
iOS15 has also released public beta 4 for registered users, and the official version for general users will be released this fall.
