Twitter has announced that it has begun experimenting with a new edge-to-edge user interface (UI) that focuses on viewing content such as images and videos.
New specifications that extend content from one end of the screen to the other
Twitter is conducting user tests on a new timeline with content that is reminiscent of Instagram and spreads across the screen.
Now testing on iOS:

“Twitter weird” is trending in Japan, but it turned out that the Twitter display wasn’t strange, it was a UI experiment.
Twitter is frequently testing new features, and recently it has also begun testing a “safety mode” that automatically blocks harmful and intrusive users.
