Regarding the supply of OLED displays to the iPhone 13 series by BOE, which Nikkei Asia reported, Gizmo China reported the supply ratio.
BOE seems to supply about 20% of OLED displays for iPhone 13.
As a result, OLED displays for the iPhone 13 will be supplied by two companies, BOE and Samsung Display, Gizmo China reports.
According to the media, the Bank of England is aiming to raise the supply ratio to 40% in the end.
BOE expects to further expand production scale
EMS One reported that BOE has invested 8.17 billion yuan (about 143.4 billion yen) to start construction of the world’s largest manufacturing plant for mobile device products in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
BOE has already supplied OLED displays for Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi and Vivo, and is expected to likely supply them for the Galaxy M series as well.
