I received the Apple Watch Series 7 midnight aluminum and sports band model, so I opened it again. Series 7 is out of stock for each model, but since I was able to place an order immediately after the reservation started on the 8th, I was able to secure the delivery date just before the release date.
Simple yet beautiful package
When you open the Kuroneko Yamato shipping box, you will first see a white outer box. This outer box has only a simple seal, and when you open the box so that you can pry it open, the box for the main body and the box for the band will come out. Illustrations of each model of Apple Watch are printed on the inside of the outer box, creating a sense of expectation that you will use Apple Watch in the future.
Each inner box is not wrapped in vinyl, and the paper is unsealed and opened in the same way as with the iPhone 13. Each has a very simple design, but it is a well-made, sturdy and beautiful box.
The box of the main body contains the main body of Apple Watch Series 7 (included in the paper cover), instructions, and charging cable, and the box of the band contains one set of bands and a short replacement band. By having bands of different sizes, you can choose the band that is perfect for the thickness of your wrist.
USB-C charging adapter sold separately
Remove the paper cover of the main body, attach the band, and move on to the arranging work. I think it depends, but even immediately after opening, there is about 70% of the remaining charge, so pairing work is possible without additional charging.
In addition, Apple Watch Series 7 supports high-speed charging, and high-speed charging is possible by using the charging cable included this time. However, the charging adapter is not included, and you need to use the adapter used for your iPhone or iPad or buy a new one.
The charging adapter (20W, fast charging compatible) in the photo above is also sold at Apple Online Store, but you can also buy it at Seven-Eleven (2,200 yen). Now that the fun opening is over, I’m thinking of setting it up and comparing its features and performance with the old model.
