Verizon announced that it has achieved the world’s fastest transmission speed of 711 Mbps with 5G.
It uses Qualcomm’s 5G modem chip, the Snapdragon X65, which is rumored to be on the iPhone 14 series.

This experiment was conducted by three companies: Verizon, Samsung, and Qualcomm.
By using 5G millimeter-wave communication in the laboratory and using aggregation technology that bundles multiple frequency bands, the world’s fastest upload speed of 711Mbps in 5G has been achieved.
Upload speeds of 700Mbps and above are fast enough to complete a 1GB video in 10 seconds.
Also, even in stadiums and arenas where many people communicate at the same time, you can comfortably upload videos and photos to SNS and interact with other people.
Even if you use 5G communication for work or study, you can expect that it will be easier to share large files and edit documents on the cloud at the same time.
The maximum upload speeds of carriers in Japan are 480 Mbps for DoCoMo, 481 Mbps for au, 103 Mbps for Softbank, and 273 Mbps for Rakuten Mobile.
Uses a 5G modem chip rumored to be installed in iPhone 14
Qualcomm’s 5G modem chip, the Snapdragon X65, was used in this experiment.
This Snapdragon X65 is rumored to be included in the iPhone 14 series, and you may expect high upload speeds on your iPhone 14.
The Snapdragon X65 will also be available on Android smartphones and will be available later this year.
