Apple TV + to release new documentary for Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey

Apple TV + reportedly is working on a new two-part documentary focused on popular host Oprah Winfrey.

Produced by the directors of the movie “Whitney”

This work will be directed by Kevin Macdonald of Whitney Houston’s documentary film “Whitney-Always Love You” and produced by producer Lisa Earthpammer. Oprah Winfrey is known to be a fan of the film, and Winfrey and Earthpammer worked together for 10 years on the talk show Oprah Winfrey Show.

This documentary documented the 25-year history of America from the perspective of world-renowned moderator, producer, actress and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey.

In 2018, Apple signed a multi-year contract with Oprah Winfrey for content production. As a result, programs such as “Oprah’s Conversation”, “Oprah’s Book Club” and “Oprah Talks COVID-19” were born. All three shows are streamed on Apple TV +.
