According to a foreign media MacRumors report, they obtained an internal memo showing that Apple has notified service providers about issues that may cause “pink squares or pixels” to appear on the M1 Mac mini screen.
Apple has not promised when to fix the problem, but Apple provides some checking methods to help users troubleshoot the problem.
It is reported that the memo was released on February 19, one week after the release of macOS Big Sur 11.2.1, but this version of macOS does not seem to solve the problem. macOS Big Sur 11.3 has been in beta testing since February 2 and is expected to be possible Released at a later date.
