Samsung is developing its own system-on-chip (SoC) for smartphones. We have received information that three new products will be added to this SoC series called Exynos.
Flagship, midrange, entry 3 chips
This information was provided by popular Twitter leaker Ice universe (@UniverseIce).
According to it, the 2021 Exynos lineup includes
- Exynos 22xx
- Exynos 12xx
- Exynos 8xx
It is said that there are three new products.

Of these, the Exynos 22xx is likely to be the successor to the current Exynos 2100 for high-end smartphones, the Exynos 12xx is the successor to the Exynos 1080 for the midrange, and the Exynos 8xx is for entry.
Exynos 8xx may be a non-smartphone SoC.
Equipped with AMD GPU?
Of these three new chips, the Exynos 22xx and Exynos 12xx may be equipped with AMD GPUs.
Samsung is said to be developing a GPU in collaboration with AMD, and there is information that details will be announced in June of this year.
