Swift Student Challenge

On March 30, local time, Apple began accepting applications for the annual Swift Student Challenge contest for students. This contest competes for coding skills using the programming learning app “Swift Playgrounds”. Winners will receive the original jacket and pin badge of the 2021 World Developers Conference (WWDC2021) and a year’s worth of membership in the Apple Developer Program.

Eligibility is for students over 13 years old

Participating students need to create an interactive scene created with Swift Playgrounds that allows them to experience the content within 3 minutes, which requires creativity. Eligibility is to be a student over 13 years old.

The deadline for applications is 11:59 pm, April 18, 2021 US Pacific Summer Time, and participants will sign the Apple Developer website with the Apple ID used to apply by the evening of June 1, 2021. You can check your status by going in.

On the same day, Apple announced that it will host WWDC 2021 from June 7th to 11th in a fully online format, offering sessions and other content in the Apple Developer app.
