Lifestyle brand Fossil and gaming brand Razer have announced that they will release a limited edition of 1,337 smartwatches for gamers worldwide, the RAZER X FOSSIL GEN6. It is scheduled to be released in Japan, and the price is 44,000 yen including tax.
Smart watch for gamers “RAZER X FOSSIL GEN 6”
“RAZER X FOSSIL GEN6” is a product based on Fossil’s top model smart watch “Generation 6”, with Razer’s original three types of watch faces, Analog, Text, and Chroma, and two types of straps.
Base model “Generation 6”
The base “Generation 6” is Fossil’s first “Snapdragon Wear”
A smartwatch equipped with the “4100+ Platform” with a 30% improvement in performance compared to previous generation models.
The display is a 1.28 inch touch screen digital display (326ppi) that is water resistant to 3 bar.
The “Generation 6” case is usually available in two colors, 42 mm and 44 mm, but the “RAZER X FOSSIL GEN 6” is only available in a 44 mm black case.
Equipped with 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC SE.
Regarding battery life, Snapdragon WearCombined with the ultra-low power consumption of the 4100+ platform and the Fossil Group’s smart battery mode, it can be fully used for 24 hours with a charge of about 30 minutes.
The wellness function is also substantial, and in addition to sleep tracking and heart rate sensor, it is equipped with a SpO2 sensor that can estimate blood oxygen concentration.
It is also compatible with “Wear OS 3” announced by Google in 2021, and will be subject to system update to Wear OS 3 in 2022.

“RAZER X FOSSIL GEN6” can use Razer’s original Analog, Text, and Chroma watch faces.
It also comes with two custom-designed, interchangeable 22mm silicone straps in Razer’s iconic black and green.
The price is 44,000 yen including tax, and it will be released on January 10 in Japan.
