On January 13, local time, Apple TV + announced Lincoln’s Dilemma, a four-part documentary series exploring the path to abolition of slavery with Abraham Lincoln.
Premiered worldwide on February 18th
Apple describes “Lincoln’s Dilemma” as “a 21st century perspective on Lincoln, a complex figure, and the people and events that shaped his attitude towards slavery.” The series covers not only Lincoln, but also the stories of enslaved people.
Actor Jeffrey Wright will be in charge of the narration, Bill Camp will be in charge of Lincoln, and Leslie Odom Jr. will be in charge of the voice of Frederick Douglass.
The series is based on the award-winning book “Abe: Abraham Lincoln in His Times” by historian David S. Reynolds.
“Lincoln’s Dilemma” will be released worldwide on Apple TV + from February 18th (Friday).
