The Taiwan Media Economic Daily reported that the camera lenses for iPhone SE (3rd generation), which have begun trial production, will be supplied by Genius Electronic Optical (GSEO: Genius Electronic Optical) and Largan Precision (Largan Precision).

According to the Economic Daily, the camera lenses for iPhone SE (3rd generation) are supplied by two companies, GSEO and Largan Precision, but GSEO has the largest supply.
Meanwhile, Largan Precision is expected to supply high-performance lenses for the iPhone 14 series.
The media said that if the iPhone SE (3rd generation) is released in the first half of 2022 (January-June), it will contribute to improving the utilization rate of GSEO during the off-season.
GSEO also plans to expand production of lenses for Meta’s augmented reality (AR) / virtual reality (VR) products.
Many new products planned to be launched in 2022
GSEO’s December 2021 sales were up 25.9% year-on-year, but down 4.3% month-on-month, the lowest level in five months.
The company plans to launch new products this year, including 3x, 5x and 7x telephoto lenses, periscope lenses and large wide-angle lenses.
