Apple is known for its privacy push, but it turns out that its CEO, Tim Cook, will be on stage at the Global Privacy Summit in Washington, DC next week.

IPAA (International Association of Privacy Professionals) announced on April 5, local time, that Apple CEO Cook will give a speech at this year’s Global Privacy Summit.
“Tim Cook is a leader and influential person in the privacy community as Apple continues to be an important player in the broader environment of the digital economy,” said J. Trevor, President and CEO of IPAA.・ Mr. Hughes commented.
Cook’s speech will be streamed live on IPAA’s YouTube channel.
The annual Global Privacy Summit focuses on international privacy and data protection in practice, policy and strategy.
