It has been revealed that the messenger app WhatsApp will end support for devices with iOS 10 and iOS 11 installed in October this year.
What is the model that makes the app unavailable?
According to WhatsApp news site WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will no longer be available on models with iOS 10 and iOS 11 installed as of October 24, 2022.
The following two iPhone models are affected.
- iPhone5
- iPhone5c
For the October update, users of iPhone5s, iPhone6, or iPhone6s with iOS 12 installed shouldn’t have to worry.
The WhatsApp Help Center states that it is recommended to install iOS 12 or above to run the app on iOS.
