The Economic Daily reported that Foxconn will support the production of the model as Pegatron’s preparations for mass production of the iPhone 14 Max are behind schedule.
Delayed mass production plan for iPhone14 Max
It was reported that the mass production plan of the iPhone 14 series was three weeks behind schedule, but it seems that Pegatron is greatly affected by lockdowns in various parts of China.
Pegatron manufactures the iPhone 13 mini in the iPhone 13 series, but it is rumored to be in charge of the iPhone 14 Max in the iPhone 14 series.
To catch up with that delay, Foxconn seems to be in charge of part of the production of the iPhone 14 Max.
Mass production plans for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are on track
Fortunately, Foxconn’s iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are on track for mass production, according to the Economic Daily.
Apple seems to be instructing its suppliers to prepare the initial inventory of the iPhone 14 series for 30 million units two months earlier than it did for the iPhone 13 series.
Foxconn is also believed to be helping Quanta Computer to assemble the new MacBook Air.
