It was announced that “Tap to Pay,” which allows direct payment between iPhones without using an external reader, will be available later this year in the POS (Point of Sale) app of the mobile payment service Square. With just the POS app on your iPhone and Square, you’ll be able to seamlessly and securely make face-to-face contactless payments.

Start Early Access Program

Prior to its official rollout later this year, Square has launched an early access program for some technicians.

“It’s important to have easy-to-use and reliable mobile payment options for the ever-moving seasonal business,” said Teddy Rojas of Kona Ice Vacaville, who was one of the first to participate in the program. It provides a really convenient way to make sure you don’t miss it. “

The demo video was talked about when Tap to Pay was already available at Apple Park, Apple’s headquarters, but it has since been rolled out at Apple stores in the United States.
