“Travel through time to relive the grand opening days of four iconic Apple Stores,” Steeber wrote on his website. “The Apple Store Time Machine is a tribute to the places and products that have shaped our lives for over two decades. This interactive experience recreates memorable moments in Apple’s history with meticulous detail and historical accuracy.”

The four stores that can be reproduced are:

Tysons Corner store on May 19, 2001

Stamford Mall store on October 16, 2004

Fifth Avenue store on May 19, 2006

Apple’s Infinite Loop corporate headquarters store on September 19, 2015

In the app, users can “walk” through the store and see some products you’ve forgotten, plus rows of software boxes. There’s even a clip of a Steve Jobs talk playing as you move around the store.

The “Apple Store Time Machine” can be downloaded for free from Steeber’s website:

All four stores are truly beautiful reproductions, and clicking through them is sure to bring back memories of that period, even if you haven’t visited these Apple Stores in person.

Contrary to reality, none of these Apple Stores are occupied.
