Google Pixel 6a finger print

9to5Google has reported that some models of Google Pixel 6a can be unlocked even with unregistered fingerprints.

A total of 6 bug reports

According to 9to5Google, there have been 2 reports of this in India, and a total of 6 reports in 13 countries where it was released.

The content of the reported defect is that ‘I was able to unlock with a fingerprint of an unregistered finger’ or ‘I was able to unlock another user’s Google Pixel 6a with my fingerprint’.

There are also reports that the same issue no longer occurs after deleting all the registered fingerprint data and then re-registering it for the user who experienced this problem.

Reproduction experiment with 4 Google Pixel 6a, but could not be confirmed

9to5Google verified this problem using four Google Pixel 6a, but said it could not be reproduced.

Therefore, only some models have this problem, and the media speculates that it is related to hardware.
